EARLY PARENTING SLEEP SUPPORT

Solutions for weary parents and babies

Early Parenting Sleep Support is founded on the belief that well researched information and compassionate guidance helps parents feel more confident in their sleep choices. When parents feel supported, they can better understand, and find solutions for sleep challenges.

My Story

I became interested in early childhood development, and parent education shortly before my first daughter was born, 35 years ago. I have been drawn to babies and their parents for quite a while! I now have three beautiful, grown daughters and a gorgeous granddaughter, and decades of experience working with families with infants and toddlers.

My experience ranges from running my own business in postpartum and infant care, to sleep consulting, to teaching classes to new and expecting parents, to facilitating parent/baby discussion groups, and to serving as the Director of Blossom Birth Services in Palo Alto, CA.

I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in Infant Sleep, Early Childhood Education and Development, Counseling, Postpartum and Infant Care, Nutrition, Breastfeeding Support, and Childbirth Education.

I work closely with families of varying needs to help answer parenting questions and provide support, specializing in sleep, feeding, and behavior of children under three.

I continue to learn and grow with each family I work with.

Testimonials

"As a new parent, there's so much to stress about, and sleep often tops the list. Elizabeth's gentle guidance and reassuring support saved my sanity many times throughout my son's infancy. She always kept her advice in line with my parenting preferences, and she doesn't try to sell you on a magical formula or quick-fix method. She got us through micro-naps, cross-country travel, transitioning from cosleeper to crib, and a major life change. Sometimes it's two steps forward and one step back (as I learned from Elizabeth!), but there is no doubt much of the progress we've made is thanks to Elizabeth's help. She is definitely someone you want in your corner if baby sleep is stressing you out."
